Wonderful Place! Stayed in Dubrovnik for 3 nights in August at Lero hotel (good, see the review). We did usual sighteeing around the town. Definitely take the tour around city walls, it's a bit of the walk, but you will enjoy amazing views! Also we took a short boat trip to Locrum island, it's a nice escape from busy town! Dubrovnik gets very busy during the day because of the cruise ships. We took another day boat trip and visited 3 islands nearby (price EUR55pp, lunch included), definitely do that if you have...

- Read more The City Of Love :) It's amazing place, I loved it! Our hotel was on Giudecca island. I liked taking "vaparetto" to go to St Marco square (journey wasn't longer then 10 minutes). We went in October and the weather was still nice and warm. We saw the main sights. One evening after dinner we had a drink in St marco sq great atmosphere and live music, but prepared to pay the bill!!! Meals in restaurans can get quite pricey. They add service charge and table cover charges to the bill! Next time we go back to Venice we will...

Macau Ferry service from Hong Kong using Turbo Jet

Known as the "Las Vegas of the East", and situated only 90 minutes by ferry from Hong Kong is the former Portuguese colony of Macau. The Special Administrative Region was handed back to China in 1999, and was the last European colony in Asia. British Citizens do not need a visa to visit Macau for up to 30 days. Due to Macau being a gambling haven, ferries from Hong Kong run every 15 minutes all day every day.
